Along with all the joys and deliciousness of Bell’Italia, when these women come along on Golden Weeks, they experience —

It’s so relaxing when details are all taken care of, there’s no stressing over “will it be okay?” and certainly no blaming mother-daughter-aunt-niece for making a travel mistake!
Golden Weeks are all about having a fun-loving pro take the reins, so you can simply enjoy the experiences.
Freedom
There’s a happy balance of blending with other travelers in the group that gives duos a break from one-on-one, and then built-in free time for private dinners, shopping, and exploring on your own.
Surprises
The week is all about sharing new experiences, opening you up to see each other in a new light. Such as, you may be painting a Venetian mask and look around to realize “I’ve never seen my mother with a paintbrush in hand…and she’s pretty good at it!”

Joining in for last year’s Golden Week in Southern Italy was a Mother-Daughter-Niece trio, who arrived with a story that touched our hearts. They were there thanks to their Aunt Susan and Uncle Jay, who had traveled extensively through their long marriage. Unfortunately, in recent years, traveling for the couple had stopped, due to Uncle Jay’s advanced Alzheimer’s. Aunt Susan searched the internet for exactly the trip they would have taken, found Golden Week in Southern Italy, and sent her sister and nieces off for the adventure.
Daughter Kim, Mother Christine, Virtual Aunt Susan, and Niece Dawn enjoy a cooking class.
The trio had an amazing time—a first trip to Italy for each of them. They kept in touch with Aunt Susan everyday and carried her along, so we could all enjoy her—as you can see from the pics! Back home, there were happy times sharing their stories of Bell’Italia with Aunt Susan and Uncle Jay.
This really was a trip of a lifetime. It was beyond wonderful to share it with my wonderful daughter and my very special niece.
